Our families mold us into who we are and heavily influence who we become. It affects every aspect of our lives, from the first breath we take and on.
Family therapy assists families that have dysfunctional patters of interaction to develop healthy relationships and intimate connections.
It teaches healthy communication skills, solves family problems, creates a better functioning home environment and fosters intimate connections with one another.
Intake is the first in-person contact (virtually) that we will have and typically lasts between 75-90 minutes.
It's the process where I have the opportunity to ask you questions to gather information regarding your history, your family dynamic, and the presenting problem.
During this time, you will have a chance to learn more about mental health, emotional distress, and the overall process of therapy. We will work collaboratively to establish a tentative treatment plan.
